At Milk Thistle, I am deeply committed to providing reliable, highly specialized, and safe infant feeding assessments, lactation consulting, and pediatric bodywork.
Community Safety Protocols
To ensure the absolute safety of your newborn while visiting Milk Thistle, I operate under strict clinical health protocols. I practice medical masking and comprehensive hygiene controls in every session. Because I work with vulnerable, developing immune systems, appointments are only adjusted or moved if it is clinically necessary to prevent exposing a newborn to acute illness.
Cancellations are rare due to these health practices. However, because infant feeding challenges can feel urgent, we maintain a transparent continuity plan so you always feel supported:
Priority Continuity
In the rare event that an appointment must be shifted due to unexpected provider or client illness, our administration team will contact you to prioritize your care for the next available priority opening.
Community Network Support
Because same-day emergency coverage cannot always be guaranteed by a single specialist practice, we encourage all families to familiarize themselves with Victoria's excellent network of feeding and infant health providers for immediate or ongoing care past the 6-week MSP milestone.
